Bird Droppings and Growth on Southern Michigan Storefronts
Organic growth and bird droppings settle into the awnings and exterior walls of your storefront. Near the lakes of Southern Michigan, the gulls only make it worse. At Westfall Power Washing LLC we clean it the right way: top down, high areas first, then the lower surfaces, then a rinse of the whole front.
If your storefront needs attention, call us at (517) 227-4597 and we'll take a look.
Storefront Glass Cleaned Inside and Out on Your Schedule
Your front and side windows get cleaned with every storefront visit. We also clean glass on its own, inside and out, on a recurring schedule that fits how you run your store. Monthly is common. We work before you open or during business hours, whichever keeps your doors clear for customers.
If your windows already carry hard-water buildup, that is a separate job. Hard-water spots take a separate hands-on process, so we quote it on its own. Concrete splatter and damaged glass are case by case, and we'll tell you honestly what we can and can't change.
Why Store Owners Choose Us to Clean Their Storefront After Hours
A storefront is the first thing your customers see, so here is why owners hand it to us.
Glass That Dries Without Spots
Your front and side glass gets a water-fed brush, never pressure. The water runs through filtration first, so it dries clear instead of leaving the mineral spots our local water is known for.
Payment Arrangements That Fit Your Budget
We offer flexible payment arrangements, monthly to quarterly, so a big cleanup or a surprise inspection finding stays manageable. You tell us what works for your books, and we build the schedule around it.
Nights, Weekends and After Hours
We work nights, weekends and after hours. Your doors stay open through business hours, and your customers never walk through a wash to reach the entrance.
The Paperwork Your Landlord Asks For
Insurance, workers' comp and certification documents come with your estimate. If your landlord or property manager needs additional-insured paperwork before we start, we have that ready too.
A Safe, Vetted Crew at Your Entrance
Signs and fascia sit up high, and we never put one person on a ladder alone. The crew carries the harnesses and lifts the job calls for, shows up in uniform, and every technician is background-checked and drug-tested.
A Family Name People Know
We're a family-owned company, and our green trucks are a familiar sight around here. A storefront faces the street, so the work we do out front is on show to your customers and the whole neighborhood.

How a Storefront Cleaning Goes From Walkthrough to Invoice
Here is how a storefront cleaning runs, from the first call to the finished invoice.
The Free Estimate and Site Walkthrough
Call, text or request online, and our office team picks up, with a live answering service as backup. For a commercial job we come walk the storefront with you. Your written estimate lands by email within two business days, often the same day, with our insurance details, terms and payment options included. Accept it online and you get an email and text confirmation.
Scheduling Around Your Business Hours
We book the clean around your operating hours, whether that means nights, weekends or after hours. You get a plan ahead of time: what staff should move, which entrance to keep clear, where to steer parking. Reminders go out before the date, with an arrival window by text and email.
Photos and Setup Before We Start
We walk the storefront, photograph how it looks going in, and log notes to your file. Every surface gets pre-wet first. If we find something unsafe, like damaged electrical or rotted boards, we'll show you, work around it, and come back to finish that area once it's repaired. We never put our crew where it isn't safe.
Top-Down Cleaning From Sign to Sidewalk
We start high, with the signage, fascia and awnings, then move to the exterior walls and the front and side windows. Each surface gets its own method: a soft wash setup and pressure washing units where the surface can take them, a water-fed brush on the glass. The sidewalk out front gets a surface cleaner last.
Final Rinse, Photos and Your Invoice
We rinse the whole front down, then re-shoot the same spots for matched before-and-after photos. Those go out with your invoice, emailed the day we do the work. If anything isn't right, tell us and we'll take care of it.
How We Price Storefront Cleaning
We price storefront cleaning from the walkthrough, by the size of your front, what's included and the condition it's in. You get the final number on your written estimate before we touch anything.
| Pricing | Details |
|---|---|
| $450 minimum | $450 minimum. This is the service-call floor for a storefront visit. From there the price moves with the square footage, the materials and the access. It also moves with how much you want done, signage, fascia, awnings, windows and the sidewalk. |
Combining services or staying on a recurring schedule brings the price down, and that saving is built into your quote. There are no fixed percentages to quote here, so ask when you get your estimate.
Service Plans for Recurring Storefront Cleaning
Put your storefront on a recurring schedule and it stays maintained without anyone tracking the date. We'll set the frequency to whatever fits, monthly, twice monthly, every other month, quarterly or twice a year.
- Commercial recurring contract. We build a cleaning schedule around your property: monthly, quarterly, twice a year or whatever fits, with payment options to match your budget.
Our 48-Hour Promise on Every Storefront Cleaning
We stand behind the work. If something isn't right, let us know within 48 hours of your service and we'll come back out to make it right, usually the same day or the next morning. Reach us by phone, text or email, whichever is easiest.
Storefront Cleaning Customer Reviews
Storefront Cleaning FAQs
How long does a storefront cleaning take?
Most storefronts take about one to two hours. It depends on the size of the front and how much you want done, signage, awnings, windows and the sidewalk all add time.
Will cleaning damage our awning?
No. We match the treatment to the material, whether your awning is fabric, canvas, vinyl, acrylic or metal. For heavy growth or droppings, we only rinse as close as the material allows. If an awning is too worn to handle cleaning, we'll tell you so you can replace it rather than pay to clean it.
Can you remove graffiti while you're cleaning our storefront?
Yes. We can handle graffiti removal as a line item on the storefront job or as a stand-alone visit. The remover is matched to your surface, so we lift the paint without etching the vinyl, brick or concrete underneath. The sooner we get to graffiti, the better. Paint that has baked in the sun can leave a faint shadow, and we'll let you know if repainting is the better answer.
Does someone need to be at the store while you clean?
No. The work is outside, and we usually do it after you close or before you open. We keep you posted by text and email so you know when we've been out.
How soon can you clean our storefront?
Commercial work can usually be scheduled within two weeks or less. Our phones are answered around the clock for emergency service, so if something can't wait, reach out and we'll see what we can do.
