Construction Dust and Overspray on New Southern Michigan Buildings
A finished build still looks half-done under a film of construction dust, with overspray and splatter stuck to the new siding, glass and concrete. Our hard water is high in calcium and lime, so it spots dark siding and glass if the wrong rinse is used. Westfall Power Washing LLC reads each surface before touching it, then gives new concrete a gentle rinse and dark new finishes water-fed brushing.

The New Buildings and Sites We Clean After Construction
We match the cleanup to whatever was just built, and we check every surface before we pick a method. Here is what we take on.
New Commercial Buildings
New commercial buildings, bank branches included, come to us covered in construction dust on the new siding and windows. We reach the upper areas from lifts we plan for ahead of time, and we treat each surface the way its material needs.
Builder-Delivered New Homes
Builders and construction companies call us before a new home is shown or handed over. We clear the dust off the new siding, windows, curbs and sidewalks. Newer homes around here tend toward dark, bold siding colors, which is exactly where our rinse choice matters most.
New Parking Lots and Concrete Approaches
New curbs, sidewalks and approaches pick up concrete splatter, overspray and construction dust during a build. We check the concrete's age and finish first. We know concrete well enough to spot the defects already in it and to clean without etching the surface.
Cleaning Concrete Splatter and Dust Off New Windows
New windows take the worst of a build. Construction dust, concrete splatter and overspray settle on everything from new bank windows to the tall multi-story glass on a commercial front. We clean all of it without scratching the new glass. Splatter is the one we judge window by window. New concrete and fresh finishes get a gentle rinse, never full pressure. Concrete splatter on glass is case by case, and we'll tell you honestly what will come off.
Why Builders Pick Us for Post Construction Clean Up
A new build runs on deadlines and paperwork, and our cleanup is built to fit both. Here is what sets us apart.
Built Around Your Handover Date
We plan the cleanup around your showing and handover deadlines, and we'll move our schedule or work nights to hit them. The cleanup fits your build timeline, not the other way around.
Dark New Finishes Dry Clean
Dark siding shows every speck of leftover dust once it dries. We finish those surfaces with water-fed brushing and pure water, so a new building looks done at handover instead of hazy.
Concrete Know-How That Protects Fresh Pours
We know concrete from how it was poured to how it should be cleaned. That lets us spot the defects already in a surface and clean without etching it. On a fresh pour, the difference protects the work you just paid for.
Insurance Paperwork Comes With the Estimate
Builders need proof of insurance before anyone sets foot on a site, so our insurance, workers' comp and additional-insured paperwork comes with the estimate. We're fully licensed and insured, and every technician is background-checked and drug-tested.
Every Surface on Record Before We Start
We photograph every surface before any cleaning begins, so the condition of your fresh finishes and new glass is documented first. When we finish, you get matched before-and-after photos taken from the same points.
Payment That Fits a Big Project
A big cleanup at the end of a build does not have to land as one lump sum. We can split it into a deposit and a payment at completion, or spread it quarterly or over up to 12 months.

Our Post Construction Clean Up, Step by Step
Here is how a post construction clean up goes, from the first site walkthrough to your invoice.
The Site Walkthrough and Free Written Estimate
Call, text or request online, and our office team answers, with a live answering service as backup. We come walk the site in person. Your written estimate is emailed within two business days, often the same day, with our proof of insurance and workers' comp and the terms spelled out.
Approval and Scheduling
Accept the estimate online and you get an email and text confirmation. As the date gets close, reminders go out with an arrival window.
Checking Every Surface First
Before any cleaning, we walk the site again and photograph it. We check how old each surface is and what it's made of. Then we decide, one surface at a time, what it needs: a gentle rinse, hand or water-fed brushing, or a normal material-appropriate wash. We plan any lift we will need to reach upper areas.
The Clean Up
New concrete gets a gentle rinse only. Dark new finishes get water-fed brushing with pure water. Everything else is washed the way that material should be. We pull off the construction dust, debris, concrete splatter and overspray with water-fed brushes, a pure-water system, a soft wash setup and pressure washing units. Lifts come out where the height calls for them.
Photos and Your Invoice
We re-shoot the original photo points for matched before-and-after photos and email them with your invoice on the day of service. If anything is not right, tell us and we will take care of it.
What Sets Your Post Construction Clean Up Price
Every post construction clean up is priced by square footage, material, condition, access and scope. Lifts and tall glass factor in too. You get the exact number on your written estimate after we walk the site.
| Pricing | Details |
|---|---|
| $450 minimum | $450 minimum. This is a service-call floor, not the price of a whole project. From there the price climbs with square footage, material, condition, access and scope, and lifts and tall glass figure into the quote. |
| Bundle & Save | Savings for combining services. Combining services with the cleanup can lower your price, so ask when you get your estimate |
Our Make-It-Right Promise After Your Clean Up
We stand behind the work two ways.
Satisfaction Guarantee
If something isn't right, let us know within 48 hours of your service and we'll come back out to make it right, usually the same day or the next morning. That covers every service we run, commercial work included.
Plant Care Commitment
New builds often get their landscaping right before handover, and we treat it carefully. We document your plants before we start, and if our work damages one, we'll replace it. We pre-wet and protect your landscaping on every job. If you're planning new annuals, hold off until after we've been out. Fresh plantings are the most delicate.

Post Construction Clean Up Questions
How long does a post construction clean up take?
Most run about a full day. The exact time depends on the scope of the site and how many surfaces need work.
Do you need a water hookup at a new construction site?
No. We bring our own water, roughly 430 gallons on the truck, and a trailer hookup lets us bring in substantially more for a bigger site. For buildings without water access, we haul it in. Our filtration and pure-water system keep dirty water off your new finishes.
